Losing to Steve Spurrier is painful, but Spurrier as a chicken? Ouch. The Dawgs - who I had internally, but not publicly, picked to win (my score 21-14) - got beaten tonight by a hungry, motivated, well-coached team. Our quarterback play was spotty - and the play calling of CMB (Coach Mike Bobo) was not what we are accustomed to.
The only bright spot in it all is that my expectations for this season were not real high - so it is not a tremendous let down. Isn’t that the way it is with expectations - if they are low, stress is low. Now that’s a formula I need to work on!
Final Score: Chickens 16, Dawgs 12.
