[...] Well - I whiffed this one. Swing and a miss. The sad thing is, I never really got to the point of starting on this one. There was always something that seemed more important. [...]

Congrats there Mr. Lee. That was quite an impressive win. It was interesting to see Richt discover a running game and pound the Gators into submission.

Frankly the score wasn't indicative of how bad Georgia whipped Florida.

Hey cool link to the article from 1980. It just so happens that Mr. Jarrett just dug up a commemorative 1980 Championship Coke bottle for me.

The girls and I fired up the old network broadcast pixel monster to sit down and actually watch the spectacle — with popcorn and all.

I think not choking is the only to put it — :uga: actually played a WHOLE game. There was a little lull in the 3rd but they got over it and started making plays again.

It was impressive to watch UFL play though ... they consistently make the big plays — except for the one where they went for the 2 points of course.

In my non-professional opinion, I think that is what is disappointing with :uga: sometimes — when minimal but yet crucial 10 and 15 yard passes are not completed.

GO DAWGS!

P.S. I taught the girls that the spelling and pronunciation is different when you refer to the team ... not D-O-G-S, but D-A-W-G-S. :)

I must say, that was a good game. I was definitely rooting for the Bulldogs against Florida. That 84-yarder for the second touchdown was especially tasty. Looks like Stafford is settling in...?
