Little late on this news, folks. But sometimes, it just doesn’t matter what you do – your fate is in the hands of others who are bigger and stronger than you.

I wish I’d said that… #1
In the tradition of Senator Blutarsky, I offer you my first installment of “I wish I’d said that…”. Whenever I run across something so brilliantly written it makes me wish I’d paid more attention in my creative writing class – I want to let everyone have a chance to bask in the simple aura of the words.
**Disclaimer: This concept is the product of the mind of one Senator Blutarsky. If I made money off my blog, I’d send him a per click fee. But, alas, I do not. So I’ll pay him with a shout. **
I offer up to you this reference to the Atlantic Coast Conference. You go girl!
Clean, Old-Fashioned Hate
In 2005 and 2006, a good friend of mine and I have traded off the privilege of getting tickets for the big rivalry game between Georgia and Georgia Tech. For those of you who aren’t aware, this game has been an example of Clean, Old Fashioned Hate for many years. In 2006, we added some fellas to the crew and we enjoyed the sixth consecutive victory for the Dawgs. Well, we all enjoyed except for John Bradley.
Tomorrow, John Bradley and I have acquired the hall pass for the Dawgs versus Bugs game – kicking off at 3:30 at Grant Field at Bobby Dodd Stadium in Midtown Atlanta. A big thanks goes out to our wives, who have graciously granted the hall passes.
Now to my prediction. I am not an insane stats freak, like some bloggers out there, but there is merit in looking at the numbers closely. And really, the statistical argument is an ACC versus SEC argument – but that is for another day.
When it gets down to it, Dawgs win: 31-17.
